Tyrone is Home

 

We are delighted to report that after a successful appeal a few weeks ago, Tyrone has been reunited with Sasha and his family.

Last year Sasha and Tyrone were seized by the police after they escaped through a hole in their garden fence. It was alleged that someone had been bitten.

Helen Howell Dog Behaviour Expert assessed both dogs and found them to be both friendly dogs. Sasha’s owners repaired the fence to ensure that nothing like this can ever happen again.

In July 2023, the court was satisfied that Sasha did not cause the injury and ordered that she be returned home with no restrictions. Unfortunately, the court ordered that Tyrone be destroyed.

At the appeal hearing, Tyrone’s owner was represented by Beatrice Allsop from St Pauls Chambers and the Destruction Order was successfully overturned.

Tyrone is now home, subject to conditions.
